The Six Triple Eight Collection

The Six Triple Eight Collection honors the extraordinary legacy of the 6888th Central Postal Directory Battalion—the only all-Black, all-female battalion to serve overseas during World War II.

Tasked with restoring morale through the impossible, these women processed millions of pieces of mail under grueling conditions, proving excellence, discipline, and resilience in the face of both war and discrimination. Their mission was simple but powerful: no mail, low morale. And they delivered—swiftly, precisely, and with pride.
